The big news this month are NEW HOURS!!
Why new hours? 2015 is all about bringing simplicity and structure to both my personal and professional life. Keeping office hours from 9:30am - 7pm daily is, frankly, tiring. Tightening up the hours into more compact shifts allows me to be more energetic when working with you, and be more productive in my self-care and business management when I am "off" work.
These hours were determined by analyzing my hours in 2014 as well as feedback from the survey I sent out.
I am also using a new scheduling system so your confirmation and reminder emails will go out automatically! This means a reduction in typos :-) If you experience ANY issues with the emails, please let me know.
I was hoping to have confirmation today, but the town hall meeting was thwarted by the fizzled blizzard January 26. Still...many of you have been asking, so I CAN say that we'll hopefully be moving in March.
The office is just down the street from where we are now, but, it will be so much nicer. You'll be getting the same great service from me, of course! But, a much more spacious, QUIETER, private, soothing (uh...no more pics of skinless bodies on the wall!) experience awaits. Some renovations have to happen before we move in, but we are shooting for a March move date.
I am currently enamored with the January Cure from Apartment Therapy. I plan to tackle this cure in March or April when my business stuff is all sorted out.
It breaks down organizing your home into super digestible, yet productive steps. I confess, I LOVE this stuff.
In 2014, I implemented the 3 minute evening sweep, and a 1 minute rule (if it takes less than 1 minute to do it, I do it RIGHT THEN), which are incredible. And this year, I have committed to making my bed every day (2 minutes, people!!) which really helps my mood.
