Available appointments this week
I have openings on Thursday at 12:30pm and 2pm. Email me to claim one.
I can't tell you how excited I am that spring is almost here!! Daylight Savings Time begins again in 2 weeks and it's one of the happiest days of my entire year. No, I am not exaggerating. Daylight during the hours I am working is to be celebrated!
Spring will also bring some exciting new things to my practice. In April and May, I am taking an intense, but exciting, reflexology course that will bring some wonderful new skills to the table (pun intended). I am also revamping my gift certificates (they are super adorable!) and finally launching some retail items in the office. It's a time for fresh starts.
How do you fill the schedule?
I have had a LOT of new clients in the last few months - WELCOME, newbies :-) And many of them have bought packages and/or are committing to a regular interval - awesome abounds! As such, my schedule continues to be quite full.
Here is a little primer of how I fill spots on the schedule - worth a read!
#1 - Make your next appointment at the end of your massage. This solves all/most of your problems and ensures you get the time you need. Some times are quite popular and you may have to wait a bit before getting a spot, but if you stay ahead of it, things simplify considerably.
#2 - Reserve a time slot. If you want to come at a set day/time at regular intervals, you can reserve a time slot (e.g. every other Monday at 11am). Please do this only if you can commit to it at least 80% of the time. If you have claimed a time slot and continually cancel, I will ask you to give it up and use method #1 or change your interval to one you can more easily keep.
#3 - Waiting list. If there is a specific date/time/day of the week you need, but there is not a current opening, I will put you on the waiting list. Please do not ask to be added to the waiting list for "anything that opens up, ever". This is for specific requests such as: "after 4pm on Tuesdays", "something this Friday", etc. When I have a cancellation, I go to the waiting list first.
#4 - Availability email. If I have openings on the schedule and cannot fill them from the waiting list, I send an email. Just reply to the email or text me to claim a spot - first come/first served.
Ms. Bond's 10 tips for 2016
Following is series inspired by my dear friend and VERY FIRST massage client, Cynthia sin-yi Cheng (aka Ms. Bond of Ms. Bond's Breakfast Club). She is an innovator, breath of fresh air, and master of many things , and her tips for 2016 really resonated with me (I have seen her in action, so I know they work!).
I hope you enjoy the series! Stay tuned throughout the year for more.
Give yourself a massage
I love these tips from TODAY on giving yourself a massage! You can't always spare the time or money to come to the office. And sometimes you just need a little bit of self love to get through a high stress day. These techniques are SIMPLE and I do many of them myself between my bi-weekly massages.
