Autumn is here
So much has happened since the last newsletter! Back to school, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Halloween have all come and gone. I moved into a new house and quickly became overwhelmed by all of the space and chores and money to be spent. I even took a much needed trip to Aruba all while maintaining a fairly full load of clients. Let's take a moment to reflect on the beautiful summer we had and gaze upon this lovely picture for a moment, shall we?

Closed Nov 3
I am closed Tuesday, November 3 to celebrate/relax on my birthday.
I will open the schedule for 2016 dates on December 1. I will confirm with those of you with standing appointments about continuing in the same slot. If you are looking to add a standing appointment to your life (and I recommend that you do!), then let me know at your December appointment or shoot me an email.
Many of you have asked if I will be having a holiday sale. I will be doing something, but I have not yet decided what it will be. So, keep an eye on your email for announcements.
Right now, everyone is subscribed to one (this) mailing list. In December, there will be 2 separate lists: one for appointment/discount notifications, and one for the bi-monthly newsletter. This will allow you to remain subscribed only to the emails/information you want. I hope you find it helpful.
If you want to receive the information, but NOT receive ANY emails, you can get the same info by subscribing to my Facebook page.
Remember that retail shop I teased about in the last newsletter? I am pricing source materials and testing recipes, so the shop won't be ready in time for holiday shopping - sad for all of us! I will be testing prototypes through the holiday season, so I may be asking you to smell things or try out some bath salts and provide feedback.
How long should a massage be?
Whatever you can most easily afford and fits best into your life is the right answer. A little massage on a regular basis is more effective than one long session only once or twice per year. However, if you are looking for further clarification, read more.

Is it OK to talk during a massage?
Of course! Though, don't do it on my account. You are getting massage, you aren't here to entertain me. We don't HAVE to chat unless you want to.
For many people, talking is part of the relaxation process. You need to GET. IT. OUT. And that is totally OK by me! It's also quite common to begin the session talking and then slowly relax into a quieter place. Read more
