All about my business
I hope your autumn is off to a rousing start. The weather has certainly given us a treat - if only it could stay like this all year long. I am a fall baby and always get excited and energized at this time of year. But, the anticipation of a New England winter weighs heavy on the horizon. Still....beauty (and apples and pumpkins and birthday cake) to look forward to.
This month, I am answers some questions about my business - how the schedule works, how often you should get a massage, etc.
Coming next month...
I'll talk about my cancellation and inclement weather policy so we are all on the same page. If there is anything specific you'd like to know about massage or how I run my business, just let me know and I'll answer it in the next newsletter.
Also...a new loyalty program is coming (aka - earn free massages)!
How does the schedule work?
There have been some questions recently about how my schedule works, and some times when I have had to say "No" when you want to book a session. So, I thought I'd talk about how the schedule works so we can make sure you get the sessions you need when you need them.
My hours are:
Mon - Thurs 10am-7pm | Fri 10am - 6pm | Sat 9am - 12pm
Most of my time is at the office, but I also do home visits for pre/post-natal clients and by referral. Home visits take place within the same hours mentioned above.
Within these hours, I see a maximum of 4 clients per day. This helps me to be as energetic and injury free as possible while practicing massage. Trust me, you don't want to be my 7th client in a day. Or my first client the day AFTER I had 7 clients. You want my undivided attention and for me to feel as good in my body as possible so you get the best treatment possible.
How long and how often?
It is said that Bob Hope and George Burns received massage every day. May we all be fortunate to even contemplate such a thing! For the rest of us, the answer depends entirely on your goals and budget.
Whatever you can most easily afford and fits best into your life is the right answer. A little massage on a regular basis is more effective than one long session only once or twice per year. However, if you are looking for further clarification, read on!
Get discounts with social media
Congratulations to Kathy B. who won a free 30 minute massage by referring a friend in September. She also gets her usual $20 referral discount. It really pays to share the love!
In the month of October, I'll be issuing 2 discounts exclusively for social media subscribers. Facebook, Twitter, and Google + will all have the same offers so you can pick your preferred social media delivery application, and keep your eyes open.
I also alert to last minute appointment availability on social media, so it makes sense to stay connected.
